How long have you been in business?

Dr Fever has been spinning the tunes for about 8 years on a very small but very LOUD stereo for friends, family, and neighbors. Three years he decided that he wanted to do bigger and better locations, and of course wanted some shiny new equipment. Thus, Dr Johnny Fever Productions was born.

Do you use a computer to DJ?

No. We researched a lot of systems before buying our equipment and we have heard more than a few horror stories of computers locking up or crashing during a job. We've found we don't need the hassle, the constant upgrades, and viruses that come with them. It's also one less piece of equipment to buy and helps us keep our prices low.

Can I bring my own CD to my event for you to play?

Of course. Dr Fever always tries to have the songs you want, but sometimes we don't have every song. All we ask is that you have a list of the songs with the CD.

On the Music page, I click the buttons but nothing happens.

We're using some pretty modern techniques to get the song list without lots of annoying page reloads. You will need to have an up-to-date browser and JavaScript enabled to view the list. If you cannot turn on JavaScript, e-mail us and we will send you a song list.

Will Dr Fever talk or make people play stupid games?

Absolutely not! We will do what ever YOU want. If you need us to make announcements, we make announcements. If you want the chicken dance, we play the chicken dance. Dr Fever will not not chatter on the microphone for no reason. In fact, Dr Fever is scared the microphone... Its a long story, but there's bad memories of an incident that happened a long time ago involving heavy drinking, a man in a pig costume, and giant carp in a public bathroom.

Can we ask that you do not play requests at our reception?

Yes. Remember, this is your reception and you hired us. If you have a list of music and that is all you want played, that is all we play.

What will Dr Fever wear at our event?

Dr Fever will wear whatever is appropriate to your event. And if Mrs Fever joins him to help, she will also be dressed appropriately. So no fears of him showing up in jeans and sneakers to a black tie affair. Mrs Fever may need to medicate him to get him to wear something nice, but it can be done.

Do you have edited music?

Yes, we have edited music appropriate for any event.

Do you have a bubble machine?

Nope. We have a fogger, lights, and our bubbly personalities. Oh, and a Limbo stick. How low can you go?

Can turkeys fly?

According to Les Nesman, they cannot.
